About Epoxy Flooring Topeka
Epoxy Flooring Topeka coats concrete floors in Topeka and the towns around it: garages, basements, workshops, pole barns and commercial floors. We install epoxy, polyaspartic, flake and metallic systems, and we decide which one to use after we have stood on your slab and tested it.
The concrete decides how long a coating lasts. A garage floor that has soaked up winter brine for twenty years, a basement slab sitting on damp clay, and a shop floor stained with hydraulic fluid each need different preparation. When that preparation is skipped, the coating has nothing solid to hold on to, and it peels.
How a job runs
- We visit, measure the floor, and check for moisture, oil, old paint or sealer, cracks and low spots.
- You get a written quote that lists the system, each coat, the prep work and the total price.
- The whole floor is diamond ground, edges included, and the dust is vacuumed as we go.
- Cracks, chips and spalled areas are filled and leveled before the first coat.
- We give you walk-on, move-in and parking times for the product we used and the temperature that day.
- If we find something during the job that changes the scope, we write it up and wait for your approval.
Our work is on concrete only. We do not coat wood, tile or vinyl. If a slab has a problem a coating cannot solve, such as water running in through a crack, a heaving section or a structural break, we tell you before you spend anything on a floor.
